Common questions

I paid for Pro but it is not unlocked.

Open the app, tap Go Pro, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the purchase. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by the app store, not by us. iPhone/iPad: Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Android: Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Pro until the current period ends.

What is free and what is Pro?

Every app has something to play free, every day, forever: a new Daily Puzzle and starter levels in Puzzles & Trivia, partnership Spades and Solitaire in The Card Table. Culture Coded Pro is one subscription for the whole series. In Puzzles & Trivia it unlocks the full puzzle archive, a new pack every month, advanced statistics, unlimited hints, and removes ads. In The Card Table it opens Bid Whist and Tonk, and keeps the Daily Table open all night. Buy it once in either app and it is active in both, no sign-in required.

I already pay for Culture Coded Pro. Why is another app in the series asking me to pay again?

It should not be. Culture Coded Pro covers every app in the suite from one purchase. If you bought Pro in another Culture Coded app on this same phone, opening a different one should recognize it automatically. If it does not, open Go Pro and tap Restore Purchases. Still stuck? Email us and we will sort it out.

How does Norma Jean play?

In The Card Table, she is your partner at Spades and Bid Whist, seated across from you, never against you. She does not say much, and that is on purpose.

What is a Crew?

A Crew is a small group who play the Daily Puzzle together, currently in Culture Coded Puzzles & Trivia. Everyone sees each other's spoiler-free result, and the Crew keeps one shared streak going as long as everybody keeps playing. Start one and share the invite code, or join with a code from a friend. The Card Table does not have Crews yet.

Do I need an account?

No. Every game in every app works without signing in. Joining a Crew in Puzzles & Trivia creates an anonymous profile automatically so your Crew can see your results.

I lost my progress.

Progress is stored on your device, so deleting the app or switching phones clears it. Purchases are always restorable with Restore Purchases.

Something looks wrong: a puzzle answer, a rule, a typo.

Please tell us. Puzzles & Trivia's content comes from the Culture Coded activity book and we want it exact; The Card Table's rules follow how we actually play. Include the app, and the puzzle type or game and hand, and we will look at it.
